I like the store location but they have too many canned beer in there and hardly any bottled beer left anymore. You know beer from aluminum just doesn't taste the same and you're paying the same price for it versus a bottle. You know bottles are better quality they always taste better and they really need to step it up and get more bottles in that store. I remember when that store open in 2007 where they had so much more import beers in bottle and a lot of bottled beer in general but man it's all cans now. I mean I won't drink from cans they're simply health reasons I choose not to drink from cans. So I'm asking the store people to please give customers a choice by bringing in more bottled beer especially imports. Thanks

I visited BevMo on October 26, 2024, and picked up a pack of beer, only to find out after opening it that the cans were dated June 6, 2023—nearly 17 months old. It’s disappointing to see such outdated inventory, especially for a product like IPA beer that loses freshness over time. The store should prioritize turning over stock regularly and refrigerating more of their selection to maintain quality. While they had a wide range of choices, I won’t be returning for beer. Spirits, maybe—but if fresh beer is what you’re after, look elsewhere (I’d go to CalFresh or Whole Foods).

Great customer service; I'm keeping my rating at 4 stars due to Costco prices being cheaper. At the same time, BevMo has a huge selection in alcohol. And my shopping experience has always been great.

This is the second time I’ve come to this establishment seeking a gift card, and it’s the second time that I’ve been told they haven’t had them in months. In this case, since Christmas. Pretty sure it was “since Christmas” last time, too. You’re cheating yourself out of hundreds of dollars in business and the manager should get a serious disciplinary action from corporate for this failure.

At the SLO BevMo store, I was able to find a good selection of Kosher wine for Passover. Friendly staff, very helpful, Eric even carried my box to my car. Wonderful business. (xoxo)

We love BevMo! Only place locally I can find Punt es Mes Vermouth. A must have to make a great Manhattan! Cheers!
