Dr. Rinard saved my kidney a few of years ago.

I had several small kidney stones trapped together causing a blockage. They did not show up on my scans because they were too small. However, together they blocked off a ureter to my kidney.

Other doctors dismissed me and just kept giving me antibiotics. But, Dr. Rinard really listened to me and took the time to investigate my problem.

I explained where my pain was to her. She knew immediately that it was referred pain.

Dr. Rinard saw that the dye used with my scan disappeared where the blockage was. She knew exactly why. She saved my kidney by using a stent to open up the blockage.

After having 2 surgeries, I have seen the ‘actual’ Dr twice, and one of those was for 2 minutes prior to surgery. My follow up visit after surgery was completely bizarre. I’m still not sure who they thought they were seeing? Wrong ins, wrong surgery date, asking why I was there…..Still dealing with complications from surgery but I have resorted to the urgent care for those. I will find another Dr I suppose. And to top it off, I get a letter saying I was a no show for my appt…..
Update…they called and scheduled yet another appointment promising I would see Dr Rinard to address the issues I am still having from surgery in January, (it’s now mid April), and, surprise, there was no appt scheduled on day of said scheduled appt. I will be going out of town to be seen. I’m not sure what is going on but I am not waiting around any longer.
Update…I finally saw Dr Rinard Sept 5 after seeing a colleague in the same office. He convinced her to see me. She came in to the appt with ‘guns blazing’ so to speak, so I explained as much as I could that somewhere someone in her office dropped the ball. All the phone calls I had made were never relayed to her even though I specifically asked that they tell her and to please ask her to call me. We shall see how this goes but I feel better at least being seen.

My father was referred to Dr. Rinard for stage 4 kidney failure. He NEVER saw the Dr. only his NP, who by the way was FANTASTIC! But, at some point you would expect to see the Dr. The office staff never returns calls. Wouldn't even take the call from my dad's primary care physician.
Would NOT recommend this office at all. 1 star because there is no way to put a minus.

Dr Rinard is a patient centered doctor that I would easily recommend. She is caring, knowledgeable, thorough, and skilled. Dr Rinard has been my urologist for years and I am very thankful for her care.

Completely useless provider. My husband was seen for low testosterone after having labs from his PCM showing low testosterone and she still took 2 months just to refer him to someone else, still with no prescription and after more labs were done. Just save your time and ask your insurance referral department for a different provider.
