I don’t know how this place is still open and not closed by health department. They sell expired stuff and I found an item that they actually removed the expiry date from it after my friend complained that it was expired and shouldn’t be on the floor. Today I opened a bag of vermicelli and found ants inside it!!!! This is not acceptable and this store should be investigated.

I wasted my money by buying a mango box from Basha foods. I really don't know why they sell a fruit to prople that should be in the garbage. We are human not animals to serve anything...
Please respect and think for a minute before selling these fruites

Very hygienic ! If you like pita ! You can get freshly made pita there ! Straight from chef ! Lot of varieties for people who got sweet tooth !

The worst place to buy groceries! I bought a cabbage, and when I got home and cut into it, I found the entire thing was rotten. It’s clear they don’t care about the quality of their produce. To make things worse, I’m too far away to return it, so it ended up in the compost bin. Complete waste of money and time, I definitely won’t be shopping there again!

There is no single place in Calgary which has a bakery, a small deli, a wide variety of primarily Middle Eastern, some Mediterranean and a decent array of Indian Pakistani spices and grocery items under a single roof. The prices are often comparable to nearby Freestone Produce with better shelf life but parking and convenience far exceed it. At the entrance you would get a nice smell of the baked items welcoming you. There is a huge array of Halal meat items on the back with beef, chicken and often lamb and goat items. Bulk purchases of meat are cheaper if available and fit your consumption volume. Basha is an importer of ethnic items and you can find even Halal gelatinous items like marshamllows and jelly that you may not find normally elsewhere.
