Highest quality grocery/catering store in the area. They have a REAL bakery (most items made from scratch) and a stellar deli/catering dept, beautiful produce, ridiculously great meat (including hot ready-to-slice Prime Rib!), and an inviting wine bar with outdoor patio! Forget Whole Foods, this is the Rolls-Royce of supermarkets. Sure, it’s more expensive, but not THAT much and totally worth it. Plus, they have helpful, knowledgeable people, not tattooed mouth-breathers like at Whole Foods. (Tell me I’m wrong 😁)

GELSONS San Miguel, Thank you thank you for making the beautiful cheese, deviled eggs, Mediterranean meats, and vegetable trays for my ‘casual backyard BBQ’ 70th birthday celebration. The 1/4 sheet carrot cake, German chocolate cake and large fruit tart - were beautifully decorated and prepared, and absolutely delicious! Everything was a success with our guests. Everyone got to eat what they loved so the variety satisfied everyone’s taste.

Not having ever dared to order from a grocery store for a party, and having run out of time - because of travel plan changes - you rescued our impromptu celebration. GREAT JOB!! YOU ARE THE BEST! Grate service, fabulous quality and everyone was friendly and helpful ❤️🤗🤗🤗🍷🎂

Hello, I am a customer of your store. And right now when I was in your store with my children, your employee of Asian appearance was arguing with me, I did not see her name, she was yelling at me so that my children should not touch anything with their hands, because my 1 year old child touched a soft toy, at first I apologized and put the toy back, after which she followed me and continued to press and say something to follow me, I was extremely unpleasant, I have never seen such an attitude before in any store, especially in such a high-quality store as yours. Such an attitude of employees is repulsive and I have no desire to come to your store anymore. I hope she will answer for this behavior to the managers

I used to live in this area and moved 20 mins south a couple years ago. I used to go to this gelsons and get a specific salad which has tomatoes and avocados in it (can't recall the name). Today I was craving it, and in the area, and went to get some....when I saw it I was disgusted. The avocados were brown. It was gross. I got $90 worth of other items and THREE items I purchased were "bad/stale". One was the crepes (completely dry/stale)...no wonder they were on sale. Second the enchiladas were gross. The tortillas were almost hard and dry. They were supposed to be fresh (and reheatable). I planned them for dinner and spit them out immediately once tasting. Third, the Salmon (also at the same place in the store I purchased the enchiladas and the salads, was also dried out and not fresh. The one positive and constant was the tuna salad, which was delicious. Overall, I was not happy with this experience. It was not the "fresh/yummy" San Miguel Gelsons I remember so fondly.

More like a specialty grocery store. Fun to meander through aisles and look/try products not usually found in regular grocery store. Gift shop, beautiful (and pricier, but pretty) floral arrangements, helpful staff, cafe & bar, good soup bar.
