Horrible experience. After navigating the narrow aisles, I stood in line to check out where there were two clerks helping customers at the registers. I patiently waited to be called next. The second clerk mentioned that the self check out was open and proceeded to finish with her customer. I waited as I did not want to use self check out. When the second clerk was finished with her customer, she again mentioned the self checkout and proceeded to walk away from the register leaving myself and another guest standing in line. WHO DOES THIS?! Neither myself nor the customer behind me move. We’d prefer to wait for an employee. The second clerk notices a few minutes later after organizing the shopping carts that we were still standing in line. She proceeds to grab our carts and physically direct us to the self check out computers. Standing between us, she assists us in completing our self-check transactions then condescendingly says, “See. That wasn’t that hard.”

The fact that she works in “customer service” is a joke. Self-check out should be an OPTION not mandatory, especially when there are employees present who are clearly able to assist. I won’t return to Michael’s. I’ll make the drive to Hobby Lobby or JoAnns just so I can be treated like a valued customer (human being) and not cattle being herded to a self-check out machine.

They have some nice things, lots of crafting items, but like everything else the prices seem high.

Great costumer service, but pretty expensive. They have everything here. From paints to frames. They are missing a lot of paint brushes though not alot of actual good paint brushes. The cheaper brushes are only good for one use and they start falling apart so not worth it buying those. Their inventory for good brushes have been lacking lately. Overall great costumer service and nice people, and very helpful.

Have gone there to shop as well as to do some of their activities. Absolutely love them and appreciate all their help! They were kind to my kids and helped them through the projects as well. I do wish their room was bigger for more comfort - we were CRAMMED in there. But they made the best possible outcome out of what they had to work with. They even gave me an extra one to take home and complete. Which, as a mom of 3 littles I truly appreciate that she thought of me.

A knowledgeable young female employee helped make my last min birthday balloon surprise for my friend a total cinch! I had no idea u guys have a helium tank & balloon station! Would be great if there was even MORE variety!!

Went with my granddaughter (3 yrs old) to get some little craft things to make her mommy & daddy a Valentine. I don't know who is worse.. me or her. We both saw so many cute or fun things to make. Prices are affordable, so we made some fabulous Valentine's!
