Update: Pinoy Groseri now sells their own cooked foods. Just in time for the New Year I ordered the pancit bihon and beef caldereta. Both were good for me and the family. Looking forward to more orders. Slmt po. #pinoygroseri #pinoygroseriphiladelphia ?

Nice little store has plenty of food. Friendly staff answered my questions about shipping overseas using balikbayan boxes. They are a shipping agent for LBC. You can get boxes there and they will pickup your box for a fee if you dont want to drop it off.

Outstanding service, good products. Any issues, we had small issue with order, it was resolved quickly within 24 hours. Great customer service.

Placed an order that had frozen goods. Paid extra for packaging and our food still arrived spoiled. Their website says they don’t ship on weekends to avoid storage in a mail facility over a weekend.

Our confirmation of shipment was on a Saturday. Items were received on a Monday. Eight days later. You have to read to the bottom of their FAQ to see that they advise 1 day shipping. I’d be okay with this process if we were refunded our money for soiled goods.

But we weren’t. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this is not typically policy. In the future, your website should restrict frozen goods shipments to 1 day shipping to prevent this issue.

Will not be buying from here again.

Edit: As a consumer we understand that there are possible complications. However, a great company makes it right when things don’t go as planned.

Changed to a 5 star review because the company was willing to work with us. Will order from them again (but probably stick to non-perishable items). Thank you Pinoy Groseri!

It's a small store and a crowded strip mall yet somehow they manage to truly have everything that you're looking for. The LBC shipping system is extremely convenient they have freezers and refrigerators and all the different Philippine products that we're looking for. I used to drive up to Jersey City now it's much more convenient I just go down to Philadelphia. This is probably the best Philippine store in Philadelphia at this point.

I've been back many times and they are consistent. Prices are a bit higher in 2022 but that is happening everywhere.

We decided to swing by during our last trip to Philly, hoping to sample some prepared 'ulam' and 'kakanin'. Unfortunately they don't sell them on weekdays so we just bought some grocery items. The place is tidy and spacious, unlike many of the cramped Filipino stores in our city. And finally, the 'tito' at checkout was very friendly.
